What’s with the Oracle cards?

I’ve been intrigued with card reading since I was a little girl. I remember sitting at the kitchen table watching the grown-ups read Tarot. I could feel the power and mysterious energy even as a child. Knowing that there is guidance for us if only we ask has always made me feel like I have a special secret. The tradition and beauty that goes along with card reading only made me respect and value it more.

Most people are at least mildly familiar with Tarot. Whether they have personal knowledge/experience or have just seen it in a film or tv series. Tarot is everywhere.

Oracle cards are very different.

While Tarot is a set deck with identical meanings no matter which deck you choose, Oracle decks are much more fluid. They are open to interpretation and meaning based on the deck creator. They offer guidance and direction. I like to compare them to a very wise friend that you trust to guide you down the easiest path (Not easy, but easier) while also helping you to focus on the things that can lead you to blossom and thrive.

You always have free will. Nothing is set in stone and the power is always in your hands.

The universe/spirit/angels….whatever you choose to call ”it”… is simply trying to whisper some guidance in your ear. Oracle cards are never negative or ”scary” so there is no need for any nerves.

This is why I am so passionate about Oracle cards! They are helpful little waves of possibility and positivity. They are gentle and loving in their guidance and they can truly help you see and understand so many important things around you.

When I was first introduced to Oracle cards 10 years ago, I was like a kid in a candy shop. I could not get enough. There are Oracle card decks for any preference or interest. The choices are quite literally endless and I ended up with quite the eclectic collection of decks.

But like anything, I have my favorites. Those special decks that I found myself drawn to time and time again. Once I started working with these decks something clicked. I immersed myself in learning everything I could about these cards and the art of reading them.

Enter Kyle Gray and his amazingly wonderful Angel Team. This is where things got real for me. I have committed the last 3 years to his program, and while it’s been hard work it’s also been filled with immense love and satisfaction.

My devotion to this magical practice has led me to this place right here, right now and I want to share it with you.

I’ve been so lucky to study card reading and energy work with many amazing teachers. Some for enrichment and some for certification. Below you will see my certifications.

Angel Team – Certified Angel Card Mastery

Angel Team – Certified Advanced Angel Card Mastery

The Oracle Card Academy – Certified Foundations

The Oracle Card Academy – Certified Intermediate Reading for Others.

Lastly, I want to be clear, I am not a psychic. I cannot predict your future. I am a card reader, energy worker, and intuitive empath who strongly believes in the power of Oracle cards. I interpret cards that offer clarity to people who are seeking it.

Do you have questions about Oracle Cards, spreads, readings, decks, and more? I probably have the answers. Please check out my ORACLE CARDS/READINGS page at the top of this page.

  1. Congratulations for taking the leap! I hope you do thrive with your readings. I began reading oracle cards. After a few years I was encouraged by my guides to learn traditional tarot. I still have a preference for oracle cards but don’t be surprised you’re also guided to learn traditional tarot as well. Although one is not better than the other there are situations where, I feel, traditional tarot can give a perspective oracle cards don’t.

    1. Thank you Sharon. I’ve been following you for years and your support means a lot to me. I am not anti tarot so I’m sure you are right. I’ve learned a lot from Radleigh Valentine and could see myself studying with him more in the future. ❤

      1. Radleigh Valentine is pretty cool. I have a couple of his decks. I also like Denise Linns decks. I have two of hers but three more that I want to get. LOL it’s impossible to own just one deck!

      2. I have two from Denise, Gateway and Native Spirit. The deck I am the most deeply connected to is from Kyle Gray…Keepers of the Light. I love many decks but that one just speaks to my soul. 🙂

  2. Thanks for explaining! Naively, i assumed all csrds were Tarot cards. This sounds very interesting indeed and I’m so proud of you for taking the step and moving forward into your passions!
