Kinder Eating – SnackSack Review

Looky Looky! It’s SnackSack time!!

SnackSack is a subscription box full of guiltless goodies…all of which have already been devoured by me and mine this month!

I purchase this subscription snack box every month because I can count on SnackSack to give me more than my money’s worth and to also keep me in the know about new healthy snack options.

Here’s a quick rundown on how SnackSack works:

They offer THREE different monthly snack boxes.

Classic: $22.95. Vegan: $24.95. Gluten-Free: $24.95

All the boxes come with 12-15 snacks and shipping is free!

This is a review of both the classic box and gluten free boxes.

First up…The Classic Box

Each month we get a flyer that tells us the theme and about each of the products. They also note any special info about each item like if it’s Gluten Free or Vegan for example.

Oogie’s Popcorn: Movie Theater Butter. I like popcorn a lot, but I normally make it in a pan on the stove top. The hubs is a bit of a snob when it comes to popcorn. He loves it but he has high expectations. THIS is hands down the best pre-made popcorn we have ever had. Amazing!

Luna Bars: Lemon.  If you’ve read my past reviews you know that I love these lemon bars!

Biena ChickPea Snacks: Honey Roasted. Great snack. I’d prefer a different flavor but they were still yummy.

POPChips: Buffalo Ranch. I’ve received these before so you may have read my thoughts on these chips already…but here goes again. They taste EXACTLY like hot wings. EXACTLY!

The GFB: Peanut Butter. This bar was delicious. Very mellow flavor. Very peanut-buttery…Very good!!

Perfect Fuel Chocolate: Dark Chocolate and Ginger. I try everything I get.  I was not a fan of these chocolates. BUT it may just be a matter of preference. The chocolate is majorly dark and that is just not my jam! 😉

Gugu Energy Water: Grapefruit. Think carbonated water with major grapefruit flavor.  That’s what you’re getting here. Very refreshing!

That’s It: Dark Chocolate, Apple, Coconut Bites. I really wanted to get a better picture of these little yummy bites…but (blushing) I ate them all before I realized it. It was one of those moments where I stuck my hand back in the bag and came out empty. Sigh. So natural…so yummy!

Pretzel Pete: Salted Caramel Mini Twists. These pretzels were pretty good. Not my favorite thing in the box but totally snackable.

Maya Kaimal: Sea Salt Naan Chips. Oh Naan chips, How Do I Love Thee? A LOT.

That’s it: Apple and Pear Bar. Another That’s It product. This was good too! Great company. This one has nothing but Apple and Pear in it. Just a healthy, naturally sweet treat that requires no guilt!

Cosmos Creations: Coconut Crunch. These are crunchy little airy puffs of coconutty sweetness. A little too sweet for me but I’m fussy about sweet. 😉

Popped Chickpeatos: Lightly Salted. I loved these chickpeatos!  I didn’t even share them!

NEXT up…the Gluten Free Box.

This box included 7 duplicates from the Classic Box ( Oogies, GFB Bar, Chickpeatos, Guru Energy Drink, Cosmos Coconut Crunch and the That’s It bar.)

and 8 unique snacks!!

POPChips: White Cheddar. We received these in a prior box and really enjoyed the white cheddar flavor.

Biena Chickpea Snacks: Sea Salt. I liked the sea salt a lot more than the honey. Great source of protein with the crunch of a chip!

Perfect Fuel Chocolate: Dark Chocolate and Chia. Still not a fan of these chocolates even with the chia added. I just don’t care for chocolate this dark.

Flamous Brands Zatar Chips: Sprouted Multigrain. I have never heard of these chips before. They are made of brown flax, buckwheat, and brown rice. I am a tortilla chip lover and these babies did not disappoint!

Rawxies: Mint Chocolate Chip. I will be upfront here…I’m not normally a fan of Vegan bars. I struggle with the texture.  This bar was so yummy and the heart shape is adorable. I had no texture issues and this is definitely a no guilt snack!

North Coast: Organic Apple Sauce. I did not eat this. My adult son snatched it up immediately and ate it in about 3 seconds….2 of those seconds were spent opening it. 😉 He loved it.

Go Macro: Coconut, Almond Butter, Chocolate Chip Bar. This may sound weird, but I love the packaging on this bar. That in itself would be enough to grab my attention. Add the 3 amazing flavors and I was all in. This is probably the best bar I’ve ever eaten.

Skratch Bar: Chocolate Chip, Almond. Another hit for me.  This bar also has dried cranberries in it as well. It was the perfect combo of salty and sweet.

This month I’ve decided to share a picture of my favorite item.  It was hard to choose because there were so many scrumptious things choices!  BUT the winner is…..

Oogies popcorn!!

  1. This looks amazing! Some of the bars especially sound yummy to me. You must have had such fun reviewing these, Nikki. ❤ I wonder if they'd give you free snack boxes if they knew you were reviewing them on your blog?? Lots of love, have a blessed week. And can you send prayers to my toe? I broke it a few weeks back!

    1. Hi Debbie! Ouch on the toe. Such a painful thing to go through. ❤ I purchase the Classic box but this month they sent me the Gluten Free one for free to add to my review. 🙂 They are a great company for sure.

As for the bars…what a hit for me this month. I am not a super fan of them, but I liked ALL of them this time around. 🙂
